Renae Davies receives COAJ President’s Award

Each year, the President of the Central Ohio Association for Justice (COAJ) selects one person, typically a member of the association, to receive an award for outstanding professional service and generous commitment to the association. This year, at their annual Membership Luncheon, I was fortunate enough to receive this award.

President Karen Weis presented me with this award for all of my hard work and dedication over the past 13 years. Having worked with the COAJ since 1999 and serving as their Executive Director since 2006, I was both humbled and honored to receive this award. It is not every day that you receive awards for doing what you love.

As Executive Director, not only do I strive to facilitate COAJ’s agenda but offer insight and ideas on how to continually improve their association. Having worked with them for more than 13 years, I have a very good understanding of what works and what does not. I am always researching ideas on how to increase membership and finding new and unique ways to increase attendance at events.

I am deeply honored to have received the President’s Award and have displayed it proudly in my office. Not only do I get to do what I love, but I also get to work with people who I admire and respect.
